Day 4, Day 5, The aftermath, and some news.

Day 4 was epic, gut wrenching epic. Ianto's death had me in floods of tears for a couple of hours. Everything about it was fantastic and Ianto's death is a scene i will never forget, it was amazingly well written, fantastically acted and overall it had everyone i know in tears, which to me would mean a success.

Day 5 was once again epic. Jacks sacrifice of Steven was heartbreaking to watch and left me in tears again and shouting at the telly. The whole way the show ended was a fantastic ending to such an incredible story and suited it perfectly, but i cant help but think it could have ended at day 4, Ianto and Jack could have just shot the glass out and they all died there and then. An episode 5 wouldn't have been needed. But in having episode 5 we got to saw Jack's reaction to Ianto's death and how much further Jack was pushed just to save the world. Heroes never have a happy ending.

Many people don't agree that Ianto should have been killed but i do. This is Sci-fi and the only thing they had left to do with Ianto was domesticate him, Him and Jack having a civil partnership and adopting Asian kids? that's just not Torchwood.
I stand by RTD's decision as after all he is the god! I think that the abuse aimed at the writers is unacceptable. James Moran especially has been so lovely to the fans, hes been nothing but nice and friendly sharing the writing process and just generally being fun to chat to. He was called a homophobic coward (one of many statements made at him). That was just wrong. He is now 'stepping back' from his blog, which has spoilt it for those mature people who understand that after everything, Torchwood is fictional and its not like they've gone and killed an actual person.

After everything that had happened in series 3 there is no plausible way the entire team could have walked away with a few cuts and bruises. Ianto's death was the right decision and all the protests are a bit pointless. Surely if Gareth David-Lloyd didn't agree he would have said the complete opposite to what was stated on his official fan site.

I hope there is a series 4, i would love to see how Torchwood would cope in the aftermath of their biggest disaster yet. If there was no series 4 i don't think i would be joining a protest (Rachel, Allie, Rick and Jenny what we planned was a drunken stupor and after looking at it now I'm sober that seriously wouldn't work). I'm going to miss Ianto after all he was one of my favourite characters. But life goes on, its not the end of the world, Its only Television.

In other news, I'm going to the DVD signing on oxford street this Friday if anyone is interested in saying hey feel free to comment and ill arrange time/place.

And in further news I'm not blogging next week at all as I'm in Majorca, so pictures and gossip aplenty upon my return :)

Okay so far Day 2 was my favourite...

Then came day 3!

Day 1 was great but i could tell it wasnt going to be my favourite, not enough story development, but thats to be expected in the first part of 5.

Day 2 i loved the emotional rush i got from it everytime i re-watched on iplayer. That was bloody epic.

BUT then came day 3.
HOLY SHIT

This had me wetting myself almost the entire way through. The 'criminals' scene had me in stitches. The Jack/Ianto scene had me shouting at the telly, then they tried to get rid of Rhys and had me wetting myself laughing all over again. Bloody Beans.

My only thought is: Whos looking after Cardiff and the rift while all this is happening?

*the entire west coast could fall into the sea and London wouldnt notice*

More on the adventure...

I forgot to say, i had a chat with some ascociattes this morning and the business adventre i previously mentioned is already slotting into gear. We've even booked a caterer.

Thats a bit random but a true fact. My mother is a caterer so if we were to need one we have one at the ready. WOO

Were looking into budgeting now so its all good, This is gonna be great! :D

Torchwood Day 1 & 2

I dont realy have a lot to say about Day 1 as it has been a whole month since i first saw it but Day 2 OH GOD

My emotions were running on full throttle, one minute i was literally throwing up all over the living room floor thanks to lots of booze and a screaming skelleton.
the next minute i was slightly turned on thanks to.. well Barrowmans cock
Literally seconds later i was in tears over poor ianto sat watching his lover become encased in concrete completley helpless.

To say the show last night was EPIC would be an understatement. Acording to James Moran tonights episode is only rated 12 so im hoping it will have me gripped in the usual way, not the emotionconfusion i had yesterday. One of my all time favourite episodes was written by him (sleeper) so im looking forward to see what he does with tonights.

Excited much??

all i can answer to that is : SQUEEE

Sweet Memories

I just went throught my nan's photo collection of literally hundreds of photos.
It realy made me reminice about everything from my grandpa, my big sister Samantha and my twin Rebecca (god rest their souls) to mad xmas peroformances where i would grab a mic and thats all it would take to start a party. Then theres the holidays. Millions of them, if theres one thing my family love thats holidays, hell we've just booked another for this month! But seriously we owned an apartment in spain when i was a a kid and we would regularly fly out. When i was 4 the family fell apart over the death of my grandpa, we sold the holiday apartment, my mom and dad divorced, my mom dragged me off to Reading to start over. She realy loved my dad and was completley heartbroken, she still is well over 10 years (and another marriage) on. I still saw the family for our holidays with my newborn half brother and stepmom replacing my mom on the trips. My mom however would take me to exotic places far and wide like tunisia and jamacia so in a way i had the best of both worlds with two christmases and two birthdays every year.

Life wasnt easy for me but in every one of these pictures im smiling, singing, dancing, hugging people and a little blonde hair blue eyed girl with the world at her feet. I dont have any regrets, i never sit and think why me, or what if, because lifes too short.

Here i am today sat at my Laptop in the same house a lot of these pictures were taken (My nans) Singing along to life is a rollercoaster, Livin la vida loca and i made it through the rain with my red hair and bright green eyes (slightly wondering how that happened) but just generally enjoying this rollercoaster life. I can sleep when im dead.

...Klingon for Today is a good day to die.

It well and truley is. Here we go:

  1. Its too hot
  2. My hair has gone curly from the heat
  3. got my hand trapped in scissors and cut my hand open, blood everywhere.
  4. my hair is fading, it will look yucky by the time of my holiday if i dont get it done again.
  5. todays torchwood radio play was, in my oppinion, awful.
  6. my nan was in hospital this morning and they told me she is going to go blind and die if she doesnt stop smoking like now. she said oh well.
  7. I have cooked dinner for my nan every day since i got here, tonight her boyfriend is comming for tea so shes cooking them food, has therefore not bought any food i like.
  8. slimfast fails, it says it will help loose weight, so why have i gained weight?
  9. i still havent got a bakini for my holidays
  10. i havent seen my friends for a month and a half
  11. my phone will not shut up

Today looked like such a promising day but its all gone to shit. Lovely.

A New adventure...

A new Adventure has arisen!
I have been given the oppourtunity to make one of my dreams come true and it will affect many people in the process.

At this time it's difficult to say without revealing all as we are still in the early stages but it is a very exciting oppourtunity that will involve people like you.

AND just to make me feel like i'm walking on air there is a certain 'celebrity' who will be involved in the project.

I'll keep you informed as we go along. :)
